Mark Kehl started this company when he saw an opportunity to improve the way lawn care was being done. After working for another lawn care company, Mark decided that he could improve the program and help lawns to look better and be healthier throughout the season. He started a program that would provide better insect and weed control using quality products and improved service. Lawn Tech was started back in 1983 and has been a thriving in business ever since. Lawn Tech is a small business with personable service and personalized attention to your lawn. We are committed to quality. We know our customers, and know their lawns and which products will help beautify their particular lawn.

Mark Kehl

My name is Mark Kehl. I grew up right here in the Salt Lake Valley. My parents taught me the value of hard work and doing any job to the best of my ability. When I was 13, I started my own small business mowing lawns. It eventually became my life’s passion to keep your lawn both beautiful and healthy. I study the chemistry of the soil and what is going on under your lawn. Keeping your lawn as healthy as possible prevents weeds and insect damage, resulting in less expense for therapeutic lawn care.

Spencer Kehl

My name is Spencer Kehl, the owner’s son.  I’ve grown up in this business.  Long-time customers will remember me as a young boy, working alongside my dad. I come from generations of hard working, honest, fair men and women.  The legacy of our family is also the legacy of this business.
